The Transformation of Jefferson Park

In L ARCH 341, I completed a spatial storytelling project focused on Jefferson Park in Seattle. Through site visits, I explored how the park functions as a layered public space shaped by history, community use, and environmental design. I documented how different users interact with the space, and how design elements like open sightlines, elevation, and pathways create a sense of openness and belonging. This project helped me realize the power of public space in shaping community connection and inspired my focus in CEP on designing inclusive, walkable, and people-centered environments.
