Anthropogenic Landscape Systems

As part of L ARCH 363, I conducted a spatial analysis of the Hans Rosling Center for Population Health at the University of Washington. This project examined how the building interacts with its site, surrounding circulation patterns, vegetation, and broader campus context. I analyzed spatial relationships related to access, movement, visibility, and ecological impact, and assessed how the design supports (or limits) public use, environmental performance, and campus connectivity. Through mapping, observation, and critical evaluation, I gained a deeper understanding of how site planning shapes user experience and urban ecological function.
